Starting mindfulness does not require a perfect app or a long session. A realistic starting point is a short pause, repeated when it fits, with an attitude of observation rather than performance.
1. What mindfulness may offer
2. A first three-minute session
3. Fit the practice into the day
4. When attention keeps wandering
05FAQ
01Do I have to meditate every day?
Not necessarily when starting. A regular cue may help build the habit, but an occasional pause is still a valid way to explore the practice.
02What if I cannot “empty my mind”?
Do not try to empty it. Notice the thought, then return to breathing, body contact or sounds. That return is the exercise.
03How long should I practise?
There is no universal duration to reach here. Three minutes is a concrete start; adjust to your time and comfort.
